'Sir Sir Sarla' drama review : A heart throbbing tale of student and teacher relationship
Sir Sir Sarla : A beautiful piece of literature that came before us through the medium of stage. If we say in one line about the play, "sir sir sarla" is a metaphor of a heart throbing relationship between student and a teacher. A drama with philosophical touch shows the journey of students and a teacher. It is said that 'A good teacher is that, who is not good at teaching." Here I remember my teacher, who used to say, when you would not need me in future then I would become your teacher in right sense. We have a dialogue here having the same sense " potana sir Bano". The characters in the play are not just the characters who are speaking the story of themselves but they are the metaphor for student and teacher. There are many incidents occur in past, future and present. Each characters are the representative of time and perspectives. After watching this play, we may realize that it is very near to our real life story. The writer proves his mastery in giving it the marvellous treatment through his pen, the director made it to be watched on stage and the actors involved themselves in the play. And the ultimate truth which is found here is "LOVE", we exist because we love.
It's a beautiful gem, just go to theatre and watch it..!!
