The story starts with a poem.
धड़कन सांसे नहीं बनती
अगर धड़के नही दोबारा
कदम आगे नही बढ़ते
अगर पड़ते नही दोबारा
बूंद बरसात न बनती
अगर बरसे नहीं दोबारा
मौसम मौसम नही होते
अगर आते नही दोबारा
माना जिंदगी की शरुआत मुमकिन नही दोबारा
पर मुमकिन है हर मोड़ से एक नई शरुआत दोबारा

The story starts with the marriage of Mohan and Parvati. The name Dobara means a second to a life. Marriage is a vehicle for them to explore their emotions and make love. Here the dialogues spoken by the characters and the scenes are more important to see life. Mohan says, in a month's love I got married to her. It may happen if anything or a person is easily won by someone. Then this someone forgets a person.And also too much of togetherness demands a separation.at the same point the news of future coming baby denies the individual decision for separation. Here it's a sacrifice of individual's unsaid decision regarding separation for sometime. The Indian mindset and culture fairly represented in this scene. In the beginning, everyone wants to explore so there is happiness. They share most of the talk and suddenly it was stopped as they are fighting with responsibilities and their individual conflict mainly to themselves and something which can't be explained but felt. It doesn't mean the love is vanished. Parvati's decision to leave home after being married for 13 years and explore his own desire, the bold one. Mohan's words, " we were lonely together." This dialogue from a movie speaks of detachment even having attachment. And Mohan goes behind her to start their life "Dobara". A lovely film. Watch it on zee 5.
